This annual event starts from the Parroquia Nuestra Señora Virgen del Carmen in Los Cristianos, Tenerife and the procession, carrying the statue of the Virgen del Carmen, winds its way through the streets of Los Cristianos before arriving at the Port and being taken on a boat just outside the harbour walls before returning to shore and making her way back to the Church.

The atmosphere as usual was electric and there were crowds of people sitting along the walkways and on the sand itself.  The event concluded around midnight with a terrific firework display.
