
There are a host of activities to be found close to the Resort along the water’s edge including many water sports and marine excursions all of which can be booked at our reception.
Here are a few ideas and excursions, although there are many, many more things to consider and of course you can find all of this information on places to visit and things to do at our reception.
TEIDE
Enjoy a tour to mount Teide, Europe’s highest dormant volcano. See the spectacular landscape of the Cañadas National Park. Then Travel back through the Oratava valley to Puerto de la Cruz. There you can shop, see beautiful old churchs and walk along the sea front promenade.
On the way back, you can call in to Candelaria, a fishing village, where you can see the ‘Black Virgin Madonna’ statue, patron of the Canary Island.
LORO PARQUE
Driving directly to Puerto de la Cruz you can spend a full day at this fabulous Animal Park. Enjoy the shows, marvel at the Penguinarium, and walk through the fantastic Aquarium.
Other attractions include the Dolphins, the very funny Sea Lion show and the latest additions of the Giant Orca whales.
SIAM PARK
Perhaps the newest and definitely the most spectacular Water park in Europe!
SIAM Park the “Water Kingdom” has 185,000m2 of natural landscapes and exquisite oriental design where all the family will experience adventure, excitement and plenty of adrenalin.
The Park gives you a unique experience – transport yourself into a magical world of excitement and magic. There are 14 major water attractions and 5 bars and restaurants.
JUNGLE PARK
A brilliant day for all the family and located in the South of Tenerife, the Jungle Park offers delights for all ages from its rare collection of animals, birds of prey and the taxing assault course.
GLASS BOTTOMED BOATS
Take a trip onboard one of the many boats to search for our resident pilot whales and marine life.
Nature lovers will have a unique opportunity to spend a few hours discovering the wonders of the island marine fauna, onboard there is usually a biologist/guide.
During most trips you can enjoy a drink at the bar or have some fresh fruit.
SUBMARINE SAFARI
Take a dive onboard a real submarine, reaching depths of 20 metres. Enjoy the magical mysteries of the undersea world, within the clear waters on this unspoilt coastline, which holds some fantastic marine life.
TEIDE BY NIGHT
Take a coach up Teide at night with a professional astronomer and be astounded at the number of stars that you can see away from the ‘city lights’. Most trips include dinner to round off the trip.
JET SKI SAFARI
Something very different – a guided Jet Ski safari with fully qualified guide, will take you on an adventure around the coast. You will be followed by a boat so that photos can be taken to capture your best moments. There will be a maximum group of 4 jet skis… you just have to keep up!
QUADS/BUGGIES
There are 50 acres of rustic terrain for you to explore at the Quad Park, 12 different challenging areas to test your skill and confidence. Their experienced guides will help you enjoy the quads safely whether you are a novice or more experienced rider – great fun!
SCUBA DIVING
There are many Dive Schools including Ocean Dream’s Factory who have a small team of experienced instructors providing a personal service catering for all levels of divers from complete notice to professional divers and beyond.
There are some unique dive sites around the coast, well worth exploring!
FISHING TRIPS
Why not try your hand at big game fishing? The coast of Tenerife is home to many species including Blue Marlin, Tuna, Shark and many more. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced angler you are sure to find a boat to suit your requirements.
TRIKE TOURS
Something that is very new to the island of Tenerife is these three wheeled bikes which can give you a memorable experience. Choose to be driven to the highest situated town of Spain (Vilaflor) and its spectacular views or maybe stay more local with a shorter trip down Playa de Las Americas main strip, where everybody will notice you!
