There is even a guide to the species you are likely to encounter as well as practical advice on how to dive responsibly and the visual signals that divers use to communicate under water!

Well, it is just over half way through the Feria de Abril which is taking place in the shopping centre, Centro Comercial El Campanario, right next door to our Atlantic Garden Resort this week.  There have been some amazing scenes and the dancing has been magnificent!  There are still a few days left to catch it if you are nearby.  If you are not on the island at the moment then you can follow this link to see some photos of the events so far!

The details on the letters we have seen are not accurate, however at first glance they could be thought to have been official documents.

We are in contact with the Police Authorities in each country where a letter has been received and also with the Bank who’s details have been included for payment purposes.

If you receive one of these letters please get in touch with us as soon as possible, with full details so that we can pursue the matter further.

During the last few weeks we have had teams working very hard in the garden areas at our Atlantic Garden resort to tidy the numerous palms that we have there.

The photo above shows a good ‘before’ and ‘after’ of these beautiful trees.

On Saturday, 24th March in the EL CAMPANARIO shopping centre next door to our Atlantic Garden resort in Fuerteventura there will be a fun carnaval taking place from midday.

In conjunction with Cáritas Parroquial La Olivia the event will be collecting food and toiletries to be distributed to the most disadvantaged – in return you will be able to enjoy live music, fun and games throughout the afternoon.

All donations, no matter how small will be well received at this worthwhile charity event.

Don’t forget it is Carnaval time this weekend in Costa Teguise with a lot of things happening around and about the area.

There will be a fantastic atmosphere with people, old and young, joining in with the celebrations.

Check locally for details of each event so that you can plan your time and make sure you catch everything you want to.

Last night saw the crowning of Carmen Gil González as the 2012 Gala Carnaval Queen in Santa Cruz, Tenerife.

The theme this year is ‘Flower Power and the 1960′s’ so if you are able to visit remember to dress in the fashion of the day!

There are many, many events taking place during the next few weeks, with Carnavals in Santa Cruz, Puerto de La Cruz and then many of the other Towns and Villages around Tenerife.

Perhaps the closest one to our Flamingo Club resort will be the Los Cristianos one which takes place during the first two weeks of March this year.

It is such a lively time to be here in the Canary Islands you must make  sure you have your camera with you to capture just some of the scenes that you will find.

We have notified our Telephone providers and hopefully they will be able to correct the problem very quickly.
